****’Scam’ Alert!!!****

Yes, it appears there’s a ‘Scam’ going on this week at MaximuM Comics—and you don’t want to miss out!

But first, I just wanted to take a brief moment to thank you all for the wild party at MaximuM Store 1 this past Saturday celebrating our 5th anniversary! SO many of our awesome friends came and enjoyed food n drinks, raffles n fun. It was probably the biggest one we have had yet at the smaller shop, and it was busting with people and excitement! If you missed it, don’t sweat it! There will definitely be 10th and 15th and 20th anniversary parties to teleport to in the future!! :)

Okay, so what the what is up with this ‘Scam’??
I am so excited to be a part of the release of the new mini-series ‘Scam’ that takes place here in our lovely Las Vegas and is being hailed as the X-Men meets Oceans 11! If that doesn’t grab you right there, check your pulse Heavy D, cuz you’re dead!

‘Scam’, by hot newcomer Joe Mulvey, is garnering amazing buzz not only for it’s interesting and original premise, but also for the way that he and publisher Comix Tribe have said Eff You to the traditional comic distribution system. In a very creative and demand-intensifying marketing move, ‘Scam’ #1 has only 777 copies printed! And it is only available at 21 retailers across the country!! And the limited, rare variants are even hotter than the regular cover!!!

And guess what, mother bleepers, MaximuM Comics is not only on the list, but we are at the top of the list! We will have copies available at both locations this Wednesday, Janaury 25th. But you gotta know, these are going to go fast, so make sure you get there and get yours because they won’t last. We are the ONLY stores in Nevada and in many parts of the West that will have this hot title, so please let us know you want to be on the list for the series.
Yes, we will have 3-4 of the white-hot variant covers available, but those are going to be extremely hard to get…and speaking of which, take a look at the 1-of-1, uber-rare ‘Scam’ #1–MaximuM Comics High Roller variant!!
